These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Resource Heatmap ("we", "our", or "us") at theresourceheatmap.com. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing or using The Resource Heatmap, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The Resource Heatmap is an online financial media platform that visualizes publicly available market data, company information, and automated analysis for resource, junior mining, and commodity companies. Certain features (community sentiment, watchlists, price alerts, premium tiers) require a free account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Informational Purpose Only. The Resource Heatmap is owned and operated as an independent online financial media platform. All materials, data, visualizations, and automated insights are provided strictly for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or securities advice.
No Fiduciary Relationship. Nothing contained on this site constitutes a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer to buy or sell any securities or commodities. Your use of this platform does not create a broker, advisor, or fiduciary relationship.
AI Output & Third-Party Data. Market data, map coordinates, and company metrics are sourced from third-party feeds and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. AI-generated analyses, picks, and market summaries are produced by automated algorithms without human oversight or manual verification. AI models are subject to technical errors and unexpected inaccuracies — never rely on AI output as the basis for financial decisions.
Not Personalized Advice. All content, alerts, and analyses on this platform, including any breakout-candidate or sentiment-based commentary, are prepared for general and uniform distribution to all users and are not tailored to any individual's financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance. Nothing on this platform should be construed as a personalized recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific security.
Investment Risk. Investments in resource, junior mining, and commodity stocks involve a high degree of volatility and risk, including the potential loss of all invested capital. Paid tiers, when enabled, are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Pricing and features for each tier are listed on our Pricing page at the time of purchase. This section will be expanded with full billing, cancellation, and refund terms before paid tiers become publicly available.
You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; scrape or bulk-extract data outside normal use; post unlawful, abusive, or misleading content in community features (comments, sentiment votes); impersonate another person or entity; or attempt to circumvent account, security, or rate-limiting controls.
The Resource Heatmap's site design, branding, and original content are our property. Company logos, financial data, and third-party trademarks displayed on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification/informational purposes.
The site relies on third-party data and infrastructure providers (see our Privacy Policy for the current list). We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party services or any external sites linked from The Resource Heatmap.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Resource Heatmap regarding your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements.
Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party infrastructure or data providers.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
